Marios graduated from Yale College in May 2014 with a dual degree in Political Science and Ethnicity, Race, and Migration. His research interests include topics of migration, conflict, and identity, and he has studied their intersection in both Southeastern Europe and South Asia. This is reflected by his Political Science senior essay entitled "Immigration Discourse in Greece: Politics of Crisis"; and his Ethnicity, Race, and Migration senior essay "Navigating Identities: Kashmiri Expressions and Enactments of Home"; which received the South Asian Studies Council Senior Essay Prize. At Jawaharlal Nehru University, Marios will continue his research on Kashmir, focusing on the work of peacebuilding NGOs in that region.
