The Political Economy of Accountability in North Africa

Yusuf (Joseph) Saei is a third year Yale Law School student. At Yale, he has most enjoyed courses with a transnational theme. He clerked for Hon’ble Justice Madan B. Lokur  at the Supreme Court of India, wrote his substantial paper on the evolution of arbitration legislation and case law in India, and completed a sixteen-week spring associateship at Shearman and Sterling in Paris. Yusuf has also been active in the law school’s Transnational Development Clinic (TDC) and Workers and Immigrants Rights Clinic (WIRAC). His research at SciencesPo Paris is on the political economy of accountability in investment and development regimes. Recently, Yusuf conducted fieldwork for Human Rights Watch. He is a returned Peace Corps Volunteer from Morocco.
