Gabriela Guimaraes Weldon is a J.D candidate at Yale Law School focusing on international human rights. She is primarily interested in economic, social, cultural, and environmental (ESCE) rights in Latin America. While at Yale, she has interned at the European Court of Human Rights and at the Center for Justice and International Law–Brazil. Prior to law school, Gabriela received her master’s degree in Peacebuilding at the Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia, and worked at an education nonprofit in São Paulo, Brazil. She received her bachelor’s degree in Latin American History and Literature from Harvard College in 2016.
