Do CEOs' Personal Values Shape Corporate Policies?

After obtaining her master in management at Audencia Business School, Esther Chevrot-Bianco decided puruse research by pursuing a bachelor in economics at the University of Sorbonne. After graduating first in her class,  she enrolled in a Master’s degree in Economics at Paris School of Economics, Ecole Normale Superieure, and EHESS (among others), from which she graduated magna cum laude. Subsequently, she started a Ph.D under the supervision of professor Bennedsen at the University of Copenhagen. Her research interests fall within business and organizational economics, with a specific focus on how beliefs and values shape economic behaviors in the firm. Currently, she is working on a project to determine how CEOs bring their personal values into strategic decision-making, using a large-scale database and advanced econometric tools. Esther is involved in public action, and has worked for a French economic think-tank “Le Cercle des Economistes”, both for economic reflection and for the organization of a major economic meeting in France: “Les Rencontres Economiques d’Aix-En-Provence”.
