Aradhya Sethiya

Aradhya Sethia is an LL.M. candidate at Yale Law School, where he is an Inlaks Scholar and Lloyd N. Cutler Scholar. Before joining Yale, Aradhya received B.A. LL.B (Hons.) from National Law School, Bangalore, where he was declared the Best Outgoing Student, and won three gold medals. He has previously clerked with Justice D.Y. Chandrachud of the Supreme Court of India, and Justice Ravindra Bhat of the Delhi High Court. He is currently serving as an articles editor of the Yale Journal of International Law, and is a resident fellow at Yale Information Society Project. Aradhya has been widely published, including by the Oxford University Press. Previously, he has served as an editor of the National Law School of India Review, the editor-in-chief of the Indian Journal of Law and Technology, and the Joint Convener of the Legal Services Clinic, Bangalore. Aradhya will study how internal activities of political parties are regulated in Australia and India, and the lessons that courts, election commissions, legislators, and political parties from other federal parliamentary democracies can draw from Australian and Indian experiences.
