Alvin Padilla-Babilonia is a recent graduate of the Yale Law School, where he earned a Master of Laws. His academic research focuses on the relationship between democracy and constitutional law, and issues of separation of powers. Prior to Yale, he clerked for the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico. He holds a J.D. and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Puerto Rico.
