Enni Kallio holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Management from Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Environmental Sciences from Westminster College, Fulton, MO. At Yale she specialized in the Human Dimensions of Environmental Management with a special focus on sustainable development in post-conflict regions. Her Master’s research explored the interactions between human migration and nature conservation, which led to her current research on refugees, a subset of human migration. As a Fox Fellow she will be conducting research in Greece, looking at the environmental impacts of refugee camps and how to better the environment in the camps in order to provide better humanitarian aid.
