Transnational Governance of Ocean Spaces

Stephanie Ratté is a 2017-18 Yale Fox International Fellow researching marine governance at the University of Tokyo. Her research focuses on transnational governance of ocean spaces, including the architecture of regional marine agreements, the politics of scale, and the management of dynamic spaces and natural resources. She holds a Master of Environmental Management from the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from Brown University. At Yale, she conducted research on climate resilience with the Yale Center for Environmental Law & Policy, interned with the United Nations Development Programme in Barbados, and supported island states as a Fellow with the Global Island Partnership. She previously worked at the World Resources Institute.
