Salvador Santino Regilme, Jr. is a PhD candidate in Political Science and North American Studies at the Freie Universität Berlin and a Fox Fellow at Yale University. He holds a MA in Political Science from the Universität Osnabr ck and a BA in Philosophy magna cum laude from the De La Salle University in Manila. Funded by the German Excellence Initiative and Yale University, his PhD project focuses on the impact of post-9/11 US foreign policy on the human rights situation in Southeast Asia. His peer-reviewed research articles and review essays have appeared in International Studies Perspectives, Peace Review: A Journal of Social Justice, and the Central European Journal of International and Security Studies, among others. He has presented his research on invited talks and conference presentations in London, Oxford, Manchester, Heidelberg, Berlin, New Haven, Providence (Rhode Island), Hannover, Graz, and Warwick. His media coverage include appearances in Deutsche Welle Germany's TV main talk show Agenda, China's Oriental Morning Post in Shanghai, and the UK s openDemocracy.
