Ascertaining the Content of Living Customary Law in Commercial Transactions in Southern Africa

Marvin Brown is a third year Yale Law School student. At Yale, he has focused on courses in corporate law, with a particular interest in International Trade and International Business Transactions. He has also been active in the law school's Transnational Development Clinic, helping to lead and conduct research with the team in rural Myanmar. His research in South Africa will focus on commercial disputes within African living customary legal systems. Recently, Marvin completed a new bicycle build that he hopes to take on a cross continent tour soon.
