Project Title: 
An Assessment of American Business in Russia

Jacob is a senior at Yale College, where he is a double major in History and Economics. Jacob has taken Russian language for eight semesters, and he spent seven weeks in St. Petersburg and Moscow through the Yale Summer Session. He aims to combine his interests to research American companies currently investing in Russia and then produce a policy paper that will inform American businesses how to operate there. In addition to these research interests, Jacob worked as a Research Assistant for Professor Chris Miller at the Fletcher School at Tufts University. There, he worked with Professor Miller to design a course on the history of relations between Russia and the West. Jacob intends on pursuing a PhD in Russian History and a career in U.S.-Russian relations.
