Inshah Malik is a fourth year doctoral student at the Center for Comparative Politics and Political Theory, School of International Studies at Jawaharlal Nehru University. Her research focuses on political struggles and the agency of Muslim women in the post-colonial conflict site of Kashmir. She has been actively engaged in public writing and internet-activism on issues of militarism, human rights, women's rights and larger political self-determination rights of various people in South Asia with a particular focus on Kashmir. She has also featured in the Christian Science Monitor.
