Emma is an MPhil candidate and Fox International Fellow at the University of Cambridge. Her research focuses on gender-based violence in conflict zones, particularly in the Middle East. She is interested in working in the field of public policy and global women’s issues. She also has a strong background in journalism, having written for the New York Times, Haaretz, and Forbes. She graduated from Yale in 2016 where she studied political science. In 2015 she interned at the State Department in the Office of the Under-Secretary for Civilian Security, Democracy, and Human Rights.
