Duan Zheng is a PhD candidate at Fudan University School of Philosophy. His research focuses on questions of political theory. Currently, he is examining the concept and phenomena of populism through a discursive lens. While in Yale, he wishes to examine his theoretical constructions through application to the case of Donald`s Trump presidential campaign. Duan has published in the field of urban studies, and holds a BA in communication from Fudan University
