The Politics of Teenage Female Sexuality in the United States

Charlie Jeffries is a PhD Candidate in History at the University of Cambridge and a Fox International Fellow at Yale University for 2016-2017. Her thesis explores changing attitudes towards teenage female sexuality in the United States from 1981 to 2008. She has taught Cambridge undergraduates American History from 1865, and was a Teaching Fellow at the Asian University for Women in Chittagong, Bangladesh before beginning her doctoral studies. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in American Studies from King’s College London, and Master’s degree in Women’s Studies from the University of Oxford.
